Messages processed vs Real TPS
Two different counts on the same node. Both are correct. They are not interchangeable.
Messages processed
Series card:o:0. get_head publishes the same thing as messages_processed_per_s. Every message-processing transaction is one hop. A GRAM transfer is 2 of these. A jetton transfer is up to 4. This is what explorers label “TPS”.
Measurement on this console starts 21 Aug 2026, when the bus classifier started. It is not the old gton_sync_recent_tps gauge — that one dropped toward zero when this node lagged.
Real TPS
Series card:u:0. One count per user operation, however many hops it took. Prefer this when the question is how busy the chain is for people.
Same start date: 21 Aug 2026, same bus.
